destination, fabled for its orchids and nurseries. Some of the rarest cacti and orchids can be seen
in the nurseries of Kalimpong. Karsiyang, the hill station enroute to Darjeeling, is an attractive
spot with excellent views of the Kanchenjunga ranges and the valleys below. Mirik, the youngest hill
station of India, is woven around a natural lake which reflects the majesty of the Himalayan range.

superfast trains. Darjeeling (Narrow gauge), daily toy trains from New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling.
Nearest Airport Bagdogra (IXB), connected on daily flights to New Delhi and Calcutta.Road Link Siliguri
is the access point to the Hills of Darjeeling. It falls on the National Highways 31 & 34 and is
connected to Calcutta, Bihar, Sikkim and Assam. It is also the disembarkation point
